Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Red Rider Travel ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection law.

Who is responsible for your data

Red Rider Travel, Camiel van Den Busschestraat 92, 8310 Bruges, Belgium. Enterprise number 1022.586.668 · VAT BE 1022.586.668. For any privacy question, contact info@redrider.be.

What we collect

When you use our contact or quote form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you select and any details you include in your message. When you make a booking, we also process the information needed to carry out the transfer (pick-up and drop-off, travel date, number of passengers, flight or ship details).

Why we use it and our legal basis

We process your data to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote (pre-contractual steps, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); to perform the transfer you book (Art. 6(1)(b)); and to meet legal obligations such as invoicing and VAT (Art. 6(1)(c)).

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable follow-up period. Booking and accounting records are kept for the period required by Belgian law (currently 7 years for accounting documents).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us operate — such as our hosting and form provider (Netlify) and payment processors — and where required by law.

Cookies and similar technology

Our website stores your language preference and your cookie-notice acknowledgement in your browser ("functional storage"). We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts; when they load, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google Fonts, Netlify) may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@redrider.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
